Yin yoga is a passive practise. Meaning we dive into the deeper aspects of who we are. The deeper layers and fascia. Poses are held for longer. To encourage stillness. To release. To decompress. To slow down. Such a healing way to practise and recalibrate the intricate and highly sensitive nervous system. Not always easy so we learn to cultivate kindness and compassion, when we experience anger, agitation, sadness, all the things that have space to be felt when we do indeed permit ourselves to slow down. To feel. All are welcome. Drop in option is available so you just come and yin for when works for your unique schedule. Take a breather. A later evening class to allow the day to melt away. And prepare the body/mind for nurturing and restful sleep.
